Her father was a successful businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet network company. Her family was in the elite Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan as part of a Catholic family. The parents of her were enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart as a private and religious institution. It was a passion for her throughout her early years. She first began playing piano as a child. After the age of 13 she wrote her first tune. She took part in open mic nights. Her most loved singers were The Queen, Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. She studied music at the New York University Tisch School of Art when she completed her secondary schooling. The student did not finish her study, but left them behind and began her music career.
