Annika Charles Sorenstam, born in Sweden a Swedish professional player of golf. She is considered one of the greatest female golfers ever. She was the golfer with the greatest victories at international level before retiring from golf at the end 2008 season. Annika Sorenstam's biography: Annika Sorenstam was a female Swedish golfer who was known for her top performances. Before she moved from the golf competition, the year ended with the 2008 season. With the 90+ international victories she has won, she is considered to be the best female golfer of all time. Annika has been a winner of 72 LPGA and 10 Major tournaments. She has also won other 18 events around the globe. Annika is a 50-year old woman who was born on the 9th of October, 1970. Tom as well as Gunilla are her parents. Tom is an ex- IBM executive and her mother worked at a bank. The sister of hers is a coach at Annika academy along with a professional golfer herself. Both sisters were the first players to reach 1 million on the LPGA tour. Mike McGee was her husband. Mike and she have two children named Madelyn McGee, and William Nicholas McGee. Annika McGee, along with Mike were married on the 10th day of January, 2009. Annika is a natural golfer has excelled at this sport from her early years. In addition, she was a junior soccer player and was national tennis champion. Their family followed her to Sweden for this career. In 1994, she qualified to play in the LPGA Final Tournament, and took home the first-ever professional ALPG Tour Australia. She won LPGA rookie the year for finishing among the top three. Annika became the very first player from outside America player to win the Vare Trophy. She was the winner of at the US Women Open in 1995. She was also the first non-American woman to win the Vare trophy. Along with that Annika got a spot in the Money list. Annika decided to withdraw from the game for the 2008 season. That night she throw the very first baseball pitch in the game. Most recent victory was in the Suzhou Taihu ladies' open playoff. Ladies European Tour (LET) and Ladies Asian Tour (LAST) sponsored this event.
